A perfect desk! Reviews Winsome Wood Writing Desk, Honey

I have eyed this  Winsome Wood Writing Desk for about 2 years and finally bought it as a Christmas present to myself. It is a great product - well constructed, great look, real wood. This is a good deal for the money. The top drawers are a little cheesy. 

They aren't fastened to any runners. But for the price, I was pretty pleased. There were comments regarding the color. I really liked the color, and it worked well in the room it was for. The color is very warm, like honey as pictured, which works for me.

I use it in my guest room as a combination desk and dressing table (a mirror hangs on the wall above it) to minimize occupancy of my one bathroom when I have company. It's perfect for the space.

The  Winsome Wood Writing Desk finish is very nice and the color is as expected. Again, it is delicate. If you put something heavy on it and drag it, you will ruin the finish. The top drawers are very small and they don't have stops, so they come all the way out, but since they are so small, if they had stops, you would hardly be able to open them.

If the drawers were made out of thinner wood the drawers would be roomier, but then the desk probably wouldn't be as inexpensive as it is, so we gladly accept the drawers as they are =). This Winsome Wood Writing Desk is the perfect desk for a laptop. The top drawers are big enough to hold the cables and the main drawer is big enough for disks, pens, and paper.

If you want a good-looking, real wood, small desk for an out-of-the way corner this is it.
