Excellent quality! Reviews Studio Designs 10050 Futura Craft Station, Silver/Blue Glass

I ordered this Studio Designs 10050 Futura Craft Station in Marc of 2012, and am reviewing it now in December 2013. It's a great table. So far, I haven't noticed any scratches or cracking on the glass, even though I can be pretty rough on my workstations. The legs have held up great, and it doesn't wobble (even on carpet it stands very sturdily).

There is a little "putting together". It took me a little over an hour, and I did take time studying the diagrams.  As someone said, I did spend a little time getting the screws through the sliding draw brackets, but I'm pleased to say all the parts were there and all the screws went in easy. Over all I am vey pleased with this Studio Designs 10050 Futura Craft Station table. It has inspired me to draw/write again after years of making excuses.

Beautiful French style desk at a great price! Functional and elegant. Cushion on chair is firm and comfortable. It was very easy to assemble, except for one of the legs on the desk took a little more time. When I got it all together and put it in the room, it looks awesome. The detail on the desk legs is great. It makes it look antique, which is what I wanted.

The leggings of both table and chair look very solid which is good. That's the foundation of the table and the chair. The table is made of some type of composite, plywood or whatever material. If you are used to Ikea or sauder furniture furniture... this is cake walk. The one aspect that it really doesnt show in picture is that the table top has a hard rubber/plastid type of material and it shows a world map. I actually was surprised and like it very much.

It's very stylish and a comfy feel to my home office. I shopped around for months before purchasing this desk. I was more than surprised by the quality and the ease of putting it together. It's a bit on the heavy side which made it a little difficult to haul it upstairs by myself. It's very sturdy considering it doesn't have many parts to assemble.

 

I just love the look of the dark walnut wood tone and the sleek style of the desk. It is very sturdy and a good solid design. I don't normally like pull out drawers for the keyboard because they have a tendancy to be lightweight and break easily, but this one... I can lean on the thing and it doesn't even give! It's just fantastic. The surface of the desk has plenty of room for my monitor, a desk organizer, my mouse pad, a lamp, etc.

The Sauder Shoal Creek Desk, Jamocha Wood looks pretty good once built and is pretty solid; I also bought the matching bookcase which also looks pretty decent. Remember, you do get what you pay for - solid wood costs at least 3 to 4 times more. This is not going to be a family heirloom.

After reviewing several Shoal Creek desk options, I settled on the smaller version. Mind you its still a good sized desk when fully assembled. Its well made and you shouldn't have any problem putting it together. The desk itself is heavy, and a very nice desk. I didn't have any problems with the drawers, and it took about 2 hours to put together by myself.

I was pleased with the quality of this Foremost DKH10222-FMCD Sheridan Desk Walnut piece, it looks just like the picture, was easy to assemble, and looks nice in the room. This actually surprised me a lot, since it was otherwise much higher quality than Ikea or Target self-assembled furniture.

Foremost DKH10222-FMCD Sheridan Desk is so nice, the skeptic in my family even said "Wow!" It is not a "perfect" finish, in that the top isn't terribly hard or appropriate for writing a letter on, but how many people do that these days? I'd use a small desk blotter if this was for a student's use.

Convenience Concepts 090107ES Trestle Writing Desk great quality wood, apperance and well worth the cost. This solid desk looks nice, meets our needs, and was inexpensive. Unlike the product photos suggest, the desk top and shelves have a wood grain while the legs have a matted finish.

The good reviews are well earned. This Convenience Concepts 090107ES Trestle Writing Desk is a nice solid piece of furniture and I had it put together in less than 30 minutes. The coating on the varnish, however, isn't the greatest so if you have a drink be sure to put a coaster under it and you may have to wipe down the desk to remove fingerprint marks to keep it pristine.

I have eyed this  Winsome Wood Writing Desk for about 2 years and finally bought it as a Christmas present to myself. It is a great product - well constructed, great look, real wood. This is a good deal for the money. The top drawers are a little cheesy. 

They aren't fastened to any runners. But for the price, I was pretty pleased. There were comments regarding the color. I really liked the color, and it worked well in the room it was for. The color is very warm, like honey as pictured, which works for me.

I use it in my guest room as a combination desk and dressing table (a mirror hangs on the wall above it) to minimize occupancy of my one bathroom when I have company. It's perfect for the space.
