the product photos suggest, the desk top and shelves have a wood grain
while the legs have a matted finish.

This Convenience Concepts 090107ES Trestle Writing Desk is a nice solid piece of furniture and I had it put together in less than 30 minutes. The coating on the varnish, however, isn't the greatest so if you have a
drink be sure to put a coaster under it and you may have to wipe down
the desk to remove fingerprint marks to keep it pristine.

The lower support
bar on the bottom was broken on arrival, but amazon sent me a
replacement right away. Thanks Amazon, this is why I always search your
